Impact
“By teaching young people the power of their voices and supporting them in their exercise of it, the power paradigm is changed.“
– Y-PLAN Global Civic Leader
Long Term Results
At the culmination of Y-PLAN global programs, students, staff, and administrators – what we call our “Community of Practice” – are all changed for having been a part of this shared work and practice.
Students – and adult allies – are more resilient, prepared to face obstacles and to find creative solutions. Crucially, the students understand themselves to have greater potential and capacity than they did at the outset: they know that they are capable of causing change and are prepared to do so, returning home with their Action Plans.

Key Insights & Emergent Themes To Guide Future Action
Evaluating our work over a decade and analyzing each partnership reveals how students and adults now envision Creativity as Critical Thinking, Leadership as a Form of Resilience, and how Authentic Engagement Leads to Action.
